Rama 9: units looking straight at office towers
Plenty of condos around Rama 9 Road have office buildings close enough to see into clearly. So the time to think about privacy is not only at night — it includes working hours, when the tower opposite has people sitting by the glass on nearly every floor. The glass facades of those buildings also bounce sunlight back, so even a unit that does not face the sun directly gets glare at certain times of day. For a room used as a workspace, a wooden blind is a precise fix: tilt the slats a little to cut reflected light coming from one particular angle, and the room stays bright while the people opposite find it harder to see in. If the glass is wide enough that the wooden blind would have to be split into several units, a dim-out roller is the other route, cutting both glare and the view in without taking the room as dark as blackout.
